Yes, Andrew got laid off. I believe it was September 7th. His company lost a big client, through no fault of Andrew, and more than 50% of the company got laid off. Since he was the last hired, he was one of the first to go. The whole thing did not come as a big surprise, and he was miserable anyway; he hated that place. I thought I would be going crazy with him at home all day, but I like it. I think we are actually closer now than we have ever been, just because we are around each other practically 24/7. When I go into the office or he leaves for the day, we really miss each other. So, strange! I really like my personal space, and I have never been one to mind being alone. But lately, when he is gone, it is too way quite, and I notice that he is not here. Just knowing that he is not in the house is unsettling. I am going to be sad when he gets a job! I am going to lose my buddy :( He has had one good interview, and he has two good leads for the week we get back from Destin. Wish him luck!
