Everyone in my department at work has to read Now, Discover Your Strengths by Marcus Buckingham and Donald O. Clifton, Ph.D. by the end of the month. We just got the book yesterday, but before we can start reading it, we have to take this 180 question test to find our strengths. So I took the test and according to these people, my top five strengths are,
- Discipline (Your world needs to be predictable.)
- Consistency (Balance is important to you.)
- Significance (You want to be very significant in the eyes of other people.)
- Harmony (You look for areas of agreement.)
- Belief (If you possess a strong *Belief theme, you have certain core values that are enduring.)
So what to you think, dear readers? Do these sound like my strengths?

I think I would agree... especially with the first two. I think that the reason that you and I get along so well is because of the those two qualities that we share in common. You know what they say... bird of a feather flock together.
Anyways, the other 3 seem pretty dead on as well.

1&2 You would never have become a technical writer if you did have have these qualities.
3 This was apparent when you were leaving TIG because you felt a lack of significance to them. :(
4 Probably why you stayed so long at TIG in the first place- you didnt want to argue or cause problems so you just sat back and took their crap.
5 Everyone needs something to believe in- otherwise what can you hope for from life?
I'd say your test results are pretty accurate!
